Defender Burn announces Fulham exit
Fulham defender Dan Burn says he is leaving Craven Cottage when his contract expires in the summer.
The 23-year-old was part of the Whites’ defence that kept a rare clean sheet in the 1-0 win over Bolton on Saturday, in their final Championship game of the season.
However, Burn – who joined Fulham from Darlington in 2011 – wrote on his Twitter account that it would be his final appearance.
He said: “I played my last game for Fulham yesterday, had 5 great years there and met some amazing people!
“I wish all the lads, the club and the staff all the very best in whatever they do! Thanks for the memories.”

Burn made 69 appearances in his five years at Fulham, scoring his only league goal in a 3-3 draw at Rotherham in October 2014.
His goalscoring is perhaps better remembered by Brentford – he netted what proved to be the winner against the Bees in the 2013 League One play-off final while on a season-long loan at Yeovil.
That summer he was rewarded with a new two-year deal at Fulham, which was extended to the end of this season but has now run its course.
Whites boss Slavisa Jokanovic said after the Bolton victory he wanted to build a team capable of challenging for the top six next season.
I wish all the lads, the club and the staff all the very best in whatever they do! Thanks for the memories 👍🏻🔥 #FFC
