Ex-QPR chief Rigg takes Fulham role
Fulham have appointed Mike Rigg as chief football officer.
Technical director at QPR during Mark Hughes’ time as manager at Loftus Road, Rigg has left a role with the Football Association in order to take up the new position at Craven Cottage.
Rigg also worked with Hughes at Blackburn and Manchester City but was not part of the set-up at Fulham during the Welshman’s one-year spell as Whites boss.
“We are really sorry to see Mike go but we totally understand his reasons,” said the FA’s director of elite development Dan Ashworth.
“It was always likely he would move back into club football at some stage as this type of role becomes increasingly common within the game.”

Good luck, with a Hughes cast-off the Flumps will need all the help they can get!
