Transfer gossip in Sunday’s newspapers involving the area’s clubs
AC Milan are the latest Italian club to be linked with Fulham midfielder John Michael Seri.
The Sunday Express have picked up on reports in Italy suggesting that Seri could be heading to Serie A.
Inter Milan and Napoli are also said to be interested and Seri’s agent Franklin Mala has said that a potential move to Roma has been discussed.
“My Italian partner and I spoke to Roma a couple of weeks ago. We’ll see how the situation evolves,” Mala is quoted as saying.
“He’d be happy to play in Serie A and Roma are a very good club.”
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich will submit a new bid for Callum Hudson-Odoi in the coming days, the Mail on Sunday claim.
Bayern attempted to buy the Chelsea youngster in January, before Hudson-Odoi had been given a run in the first team, and he was keen to make the move.
Hudson-Odoi, who is recovering from a ruptured Achilles, has a year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge and the Blues are keen for him to sign a new deal.
Bayern have long been tipped to make another move for him this summer and the Mail on Sunday say the German club will offer £45m.
Chelsea, who currently face a transfer ban but continue to be linked with players, are among English clubs the Sunday Mirror claim are chasing CSKA Moscow striker Fedor Chalov.
And reports in Scotland continue to suggest Celtic will table a new bid for Brentford star Romaine Sawyers – West London Sport recently revealed that a £2m offer had been rejected.
