Transfer gossip: Speculation over Sessegnon’s future continues
Speculation continues over the future of Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon.
After the Daily Express claimed Sessegnon favours a move to Liverpool, the Daily Mirror reports that he would prefer to join Tottenham.
Spurs have long been interested in the 17-year-old and are looking to agree a deal for him this summer.
He has linked with other leading clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.
The Express claimed he wants to join Liverpool and that he could end up playing on the left of a front three at Anfield.
But the Mirror reports that a move to Spurs would be more appealing to him because of boss Mauricio Pochettino’s record of developing young players and because it would mean staying in London.
The Mirror also recently claimed Manchester City have entered a race to sign Sessegnon and will battle with United and Spurs.
Sessegnon, who signed a long-term contract at Craven Cottage last summer, scored his 14th goal of the season as Fulham won 2-1 at Derby on Saturday.
Fulham have insisted he is not for sale.

We must hope Fulham aren’t promoted. They’ll want to hold on to Sessegnon at all costs if they’re in the Premier League next season. If Fulham miss promotion it will be very difficult to keep him. At Tottenham under Poch he’d become even better than he already is.
