Fulham’s Malone close to joining Huddersfield
Fulham are close to agreeing a deal to sell Scott Malone to Premier League new boys Huddersfield.
The two clubs are in talks and the Whites are prepared to let the left-back leave.
Terriers boss David Wagner has moved for Malone, 26, having been impressed with him in the Championship last season.
Fulham thrashed Huddersfield home and away and Malone was influential in both games, scoring the opener in a 4-1 away victory and also standing out in a 5-0 win at Craven Cottage.
He scored six goals in 36 Championship appearances in total as Slavisa Jokanovic’s side reached the play-offs.
Malone joined Fulham from Cardiff City last summer. He began his career at Wolves before spells at Bournemouth and Millwall.
