Fulham are in talks with Swansea City over a potential deal to sign Jordan Ayew and also want Arsenal defender Calum Chambers.
The Whites have indicated they are prepared to pay £8m for 26-year-old forward Ayew, who has attracted interest from a number of clubs.
Ayew, a Ghana international, has made 50 Premier League appearances, scoring eight goals, since joining Swansea from Aston Villa in January last year.
He is among several players expected to leave the Welsh club following their relegation from the top flight.
Fulham were keen on Chambers, 23, last summer but he stayed at the Emirates Stadium and made 24 appearances for Arsenal last season, including 10 Premier League starts.
Fulham are looking for new centre-backs and a right-back following the club’s promotion – and Chambers can play in both positions.
Chambers, who has played three times for England, has three years remaining on his Arsenal contract but Fulham are hopeful a deal can be agreed to take him to Craven Cottage.
Fulham are also looking to sign Tomas Kalas and Lucas Piazon on permanent basis following their spells on loan from Chelsea.
Kalas’ loan deal included an option to buy him for £8.5m but Fulham are hoping to negotiate a lower price.
