Fulham’s Lucas Piazon broke his leg in his side’s 0-0 draw at Leeds United on Tuesday, Whites boss Slavisa Jokanovic confirmed.
The on-loan Chelsea winger came off after 35 minutes following a fair tackle by Leeds’ Conor Shaughnessy.
Jokanovic revealed in his post-match press conference that the Brazilian had suffered a broken fibula.
Piazon rejoined Fulham on loan in the summer, having also spent last season at Craven Cottage.
He scored six goals in 33 games for the Whites in 2016-17 and grabbed another in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Reading.
