Celtic hand trial to Fulham defender

Fulham defender Rafik Halliche is having a trial with Celtic.

He featured for the Glasgow club’s reserve team in a match against Hibernian on Wednesday ahead of a possible move to Parkhead.

Halliche is surplus to requirements at Fulham and agreed a loan move to Swansea in August.

But he returned to Craven Cottage after the Welsh club were denied international clearance by Fifa.
