Fulham midfielder Scott Parker has been ruled out of Saturday’s game against Stoke because of a calf problem.
The 32-year-old was forced off with the injury during last week’s defeat at home to Cardiff City and he has failed recover in time for the visit of Mark Hughes’ side.
“Scott is out with a calf problem,” Whites manager Martin Jol confirmed.
“We brought him off against Cardiff and he is still feeling it so won’t be available. It will probably take him a week to 10 days to be okay.”
Fulham are still without Maarten Stekelenburg, who has a shoulder injury, but Jol revealed the goalkeeper is close to a return after fearing he may have needed surgery.
“Maarten is still not available but he is much better, at about 90%. He will need next week to recover,” Jol explained.
Defender Aaron Hughes is still suffering with a thigh problem and midfielder Ashkan Dejagah remains unfit for selection.
