Chelsea are still looking for their first win under Rafael Benitez after they were beaten by two late West Ham goals. Here’s how we rated the players in their 3-1 defeat at Upton Park.
Petr Cech: 7
Did well against West Ham’s aerial assault at set-pieces and produced a couple of very good saves, including the parry which led to West Ham’s third goal.
Cesar Azpilicueta: 7
Has been a real positive for Chelsea during a troubled spell for the club. Showed his defensive qualities, especially in the first half, although Matt Jarvis did have more success against him in the second as the game became more stretched.
Branislav Ivanovic: 7
Did well until Chelsea crumbled late on. Was unlucky for West Ham’s first two goals, as he was clearly fouled by Carlton Cole for the first and the second went through his legs.
Gary Cahill: 7
A technically sound defender who can also put his body on the line when required, as he proved by getting a boot in the face for his troubles.
Ashley Cole: 6
A mixed day for the left-back. Rescued Chelsea on a couple of occasions, not least when clearing a goal-bound effort. But gave Matt Taylor too much space at times in the second half and gave the ball away in the build-up to West Ham’s third goal.
John Mikel Obi: 5
Struggled against West Ham’s determined midfield, especially during an all-important period in the second half when the game swung towards the home side.
Ramires: 7
Also had problems containing West Ham but was effective going forward, bursting into the opposing half and using the ball well.
Victor Moses: 7
Was involved in Chelsea’s goal, finding Fernando Torres with a great pass. Dangerous throughout the first half but faded somewhat before being taken off late on.
Juan Mata: 8
Classy finish for the opening goal and was unlucky not to restore the Blues’ lead with a free-kick which hit the post. Always a threat to West Ham’s defence.
Eden Hazard: 6
Was lively for the first 35 minutes or so and was unlucky with a long-range effort. Became less effective before being replaced by Oscar for the final 17 minutes.
Fernando Torres: 6
Again struggled in front of goal but set up Mata for the opener and was unlucky with a second-half header.

"Hazard was real threat to weshtbitch"
"Your reting is dumb"
"3ate them from what they did"
Chelsea fans.
Your reting is dumb, Mata is agood player but he wast so many balls, he was giving the ball away at each of his touch, Hazard was real threat to weshtbitch, but still you rate him way less than Mata, who apart from his goal which even a 11years kid wouldn't miss after a great service, so please stop rating players just by names,3ate them from what they did
