A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…
Newcastle and Aston Villa are said to be keen to sign Patrick Bamford amid more speculation over the Chelsea striker’s future.
The Express declare that both relegated clubs want Bamford, 22, and that Chelsea want £10m for him.
It comes after the Birmingham Mail reported that ex-Chelsea man Roberto di Matteo, newly installed as Villa manager, is interested in Bamford, who was also recently linked with Newcastle.
Meanwhile, the Mirror, which has consistently linked Alvarto Morata with Chelsea, say the Blues are now favourites to sign him after Arsenal – who were also supposedly interested in the Juventus striker – made a move for Leicester’s Jamie Vardy.
And Roma president James Pallotta has once again insisted that his club will not sell Radja Nainggolan despite reports the Belgium midfielder could join Chelsea.
“I keep on telling you that Nainggolan is going nowhere,” Pallotta told Italian media.
