Gossip: United linked with Costa and Blues are said to be keen on Athletic Bilbao star

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Speculation continues over the future of Diego Costa, while The Sun on Sunday say Chelsea are keen to sign Athletic Bilbao midfielder Oscar de Marcos.

Spain-based transfer-gossip website Fichajes.net claim Manchester United could make move for Blues striker Costa this summer.

Costa has been linked with a return to his former club Atletico Madrid, but it is claimed they could be outbid by United, who have been tipped to appoint former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho as manager.

There has been speculation over Costa’s future for some time

Meanwhile, De Marcos, 26, is apparently rated at £20m and seen as a potential replacement for Ramires, who left Chelsea during the January transfer window.

De Marcos, who can also play at full-back, has been compared to former Manchester United star Roy Keane and was previously linked with United.

He has now been linked with possible move to Stamford Bridge after a Chelsea scout recently watched an Athletic Bilbao game.
