Jose Mourinho wants to sign John Mikel Obi for Manchester United, The Sun claim.
Mikel, who played under former Blues boss Mourinho at Stamford Bridge, is thought to be coming towards the end of his time at Chelsea.
He has been overlooked by manager Antonio Conte and is not expected to be offered a new deal – his current contract expires at the end of the season.
The Sun say Mourinho is planning a ‘cut-price New Year offer’ for the 29-year-old Nigerian.
The Daily Star claim a number of clubs, including Chelsea, want Anderlecht youngster Youri Tielemans.
The 19-year-old midfielder was previously touted for a move to Manchester United, who have been linked with him again.
The Star say United are keeping tabs on Tielemans and that there is also interest from Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and Bayern Munich.
