Transfer gossip: Speculation over Sessegnon continues
Ryan Sessegnon scoring twice in Fulham’s win at Newcastle has duly led to more speculation about the youngster’s future.
The Sun on Sunday say Liverpool are confident of signing the 16-year-old left-back.
Tottenham and Arsenal have made enquiries about Sessegnon and there have been reports that Manchester City, Chelsea and Everton are keen on him.
The Sun on Sunday recently suggested that City boss Pep Guardiola wants his club to spend big in order to sign Sessegnon this summer.
The Daily Mail subsequently reported that Tottenham are confident of agreeing a deal to take him to White Hart Lane.
And Liverpool’s Merseyside rivals Everton were also recently linked with Sessegnon, who is primarily a left-back but played in a more attacking role against Newcastle.
Fulham’s win at St James’ Park took them to within two points of the play-off places.
