Transfer gossip: Begovic looking to leave Chelsea, Sun say

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s clubs…

With the transfer window now closed, there is already speculation over what might happen when it reopens in the summer.

Goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has become frustrated at Chelsea and is looking to leave, according to The Sun.

The newspaper has been predicting an exodus of players from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

And following Ramires’ recent move and skipper John Terry’s announcement that he will be leaving in the summer, The Sun say Begovic is ‘preparing to join the exodus’.

The Bosnian is said to have been ‘stunned’ that he was not selected for Sunday’s FA Cup game at MK Dons.

Begovic has been frozen out since Thibaut Courtois’ return from injury

Meanwhile, Italian media reports say Marco Motta could still secure a move to QPR.

West London Sport recently revealed that the former Juventus defender, 29, was on trial at Loftus Road and later revealed that short-term deal was discussed before Motta was eventually told he would not be getting the contract he wanted.

But reports in his native country still claim that there is a chance he could be retained.
