Tottenham star is ready to snub Rangers and West Ham – report
Jermain Defoe has agreed a move from Tottenham to Toronto FC, according to the Daily Mirror.
QPR boss Harry Redknapp, who managed Defoe at Spurs and Portsmouth, has tried to take him to Loftus Road and planned to make another attempt to sign him at the end of the season.
The striker’s former club West Ham are also said to be interested in him but it is claimed Defoe, 31, will move to Canada on a four-year contract worth £90,000-a-week.
Toronto, managed by former QPR and Tottenham man Ryan Nelsen, have apparently offered to fly Defoe’s family over in order to help him settle.
Defoe is tipped to join the club when the MLS season begins in March.

The Sun, which claims Sunderland and Hull also want Defoe, say he plans to speak to England boss Roy Hodgson before making a final decision.
It is suggested that the player is seeking assurances that leaving the Premier League would not damage his chances of going to the World Cup.
Meanwhile, QPR midfielder Joey Barton’s presence among the visiting Marseille fans at Arsenal is covered by the Daily Mail.
