Despite having to defend for much of the game, Fulham ended the season with an excellent result at Swansea. Here’s how we rated the Whites players in their 3-0 victory.
Mark Schwarzer: 8
An excellent display by the veteran keeper, who produced a number of saves – especially during a 20-minute spell in the second half when Swansea looked certain to score.
Sascha Riether: 7
The German defender has been great for Fulham this season and was typically solid in the final match of his loan spell.
Philippe Senderos: 6
A decent display from the much maligned centre-back, who recovered from an early knock and did okay.
Brede Hangeland: 7
Another who played well in a gutsy defensive display by the team.
Damien Duff: 7
A very effective defensive performance from the wide-man, who has shown a new side to his game.
John Arne Riise: 6
A hardworking display from the Norwegian, who won several important challenges.
Emmanuel Frimpong: 7
The on-loan Arsenal man did well before going off injured in the second half. He set up the opening goal and was lively throughout.
Eyong Enoh: 6
Hit-and-miss in midfield. Sloppy at times but also produced moments of quality and closed down well.
Alex Kacaniklic: 8
Finished nicely for his goal and later hit the woodwork. A fine display from the youngster, who will be one to watch next season.
Dimitar Berbatov: 7
Had a quiet first half but was much more effective in the second and scored with a typically blasé finish.
Bryan Ruiz: 7
Another who grew in stature as the game wore on. Linked play beautifully at times in the second half and his movement off the ball was terrific.
Giorgios Karagounis: 6
Tidy in midfield after coming on for Frimpong.
Urby Emanuelson: 7
Looked good after coming on – and capped a fine Fulham win by scoring a late goal.
