Chelsea’s Daniel Sturridge is demanding a £80,000 a week to move to Liverpool in January, according to the Daily Mirror.
It is also claimed the 23-year-old wants assurances that he would be played as striker at Anfield rather than in a wide position.
Liverpool expressed an interest in Sturridge during the summer and have been widely tipped to table a bid for him when the transfer window opens.
The Mirror also say Pep Guardiola – believed to be Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich’s first choice to take over as manager at Stamford Bridge – is being targeted by Paris St-Germain.
The French club’s Qatari owners are said to be planning to ditch ex-Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti at the end of the season and are apparently determined to appoint Guardiola.
Meanwhile, The Independent report that Chelsea fear key decisions are going against them as consequence of the Mark Clattenburg affair.
The Sun claim Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez has decided not to recall Romelu Lukaku from the striker’s loan spell at West Brom.
And Everton’s Sylvain Distin could be target for QPR, the Daily Mail suggest.
