Shambolic Blackpool will surely be no match for Austin-inspired Rangers

With Blackpool struggling, QPR must fancy their chances against Paul Ince’s side this weekend.

Rangers maintained this season’s unbeaten record at Loftus Road with a 0-0 draw with Blackburn, missing the chance to go top of the league and dropping points for only the second time on home soil this season.

Harry Redknapp has attempted to rectify the lack of penetration in front of goal by securing the services of Israeli international Yossi Benayoun.

BetVictor have him even-money to get two or more goals in the Championship – let’s hope he adds that cutting edge Rangers have been missing in the final third.

Rangers are the 11/10 favourites at Bloomfield Road, Blackpool 29/10 and the draw 12/5.

Blackpool were shambolic in a 1-0 defeat away at bottom club Yeovil, having three men sent off to boot.

Ince’s men were then spanked by Derby 5-1 on Sunday, had a further two men sent off and look a side in free-fall.

The R’s defence looked solid against Rovers and keeper Rob Green is 7/5 to keep yet another clean sheet and 23/10 to do so in a Hoops victory.

BetVictor have cut Charlie Austin to 5/1 to be the Championship’s leading scorer and he is 4/1 to open the scoring on Saturday, 11/8 to score anytime.

  • Don't count your chickens. My forecast at 10.51 is a 2 - nil home win. Now I am counting chickens!

  • Wait for the finance fair play rules to kick in and then we shall see which club is shambolic.
