Samba linked with Russia return

Anzhi Makhachkala want to re-sign Chris Samba, according to the Daily Star.

Samba left the Russian club in January to join QPR for £12.5m but has been tipped to make a quick exit from Loftus Road.

The defender is expected to leave at the end of the season, with Rangers said to be planning to cut their wage bill once relegation is confirmed.

And it is suggested that Anzhi are prepared to match his wages – once again reported to be £100,000 per week – in order to get him back.
