Jose Mourinho is ready to take over at Paris St Germain rather than Chelsea, according to the Sunday People.
Mourinho, widely tipped to leave Real Madrid and return to Stamford Bridge, is said to be planning move to France instead – apparently to keep alive his chances of eventually replacing Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.
He has also been linked with Manchester City, but it is claimed that Mourinho believes taking over at another Premier League club would rule him out of the running to succeed Ferguson when the Scot retires.
PSG’s Qatari owners, it is claimed, want Mourinho to replace another former Chelsea boss, Carlo Ancelotti, because of his record in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain.
The Sun on Sunday, meanwhile, say Mourinho wants the Chelsea job despite interest from City, PSG and AC Milan.
A source is quoted as saying: “Jose wants to go back to Chelsea. It’s where he wants to be.
“Every time Chelsea fans sing his name it makes him want to go back even more.
“He’ll sign for the same money he’s on at Real, even though he’s sure he could earn more elsewhere — like City or PSG.
“Jose could even remain at Madrid but he is clear about where he’d like to go — it’s now down to if Roman Abramovich wants the same.”

Mourinho has no business with United and I believe this time around he is coming as our own Ferguson.
