Redknapp will get £1m-plus bonus if Rangers stay up – report
Harry Redknapp will get a £1m-plus bonus if QPR stay up this season, the Daily Mirror say.
It is suggested that Redknapp, who is replacing Mark Hughes as manager at Loftus Road, has agreed a £3m-a-year three-year deal with a further seven-figure reward if Rangers avoid the drop.
Meanwhile, Redknapp has told The Sun he does not expect the club to go on yet another spending spree when the transfer window opens.
He said: “I wouldn’t expect too much to happen in January. They’ve got a big staff, they got about 12 players in over the summer and you can’t keep bringing in players.
“If we need to get a couple of loans or something then we’ll do that. We don’t need a massive spend-up.
“My message to the QPR fans is that I will give it everything I’ve got — I can only do my best.”
