Harry Redknapp might yet take revenge on West Ham for beating him to the signing of Joe Cole by luring Mohamed Diame away from Upton Park, The Sun say.
QPR have made an offer for Diame, who has a £3.5m release clause in his contract.
It is claimed R’s boss Redknapp is ready to pay up to £5m for the midfielder plus a lucrative signing-on fee and that West Ham are trying to thrash out a deal to raise the player’s wages by £10,000 a week.

Redknapp has also told the paper that an agent asked if he would like to sign Inter Milan’s Dutch star Wesley Sneijder.
QPR and Fulham are keen on Tottenham midfielder Jake Livermore, according to the Daily Mirror and Daily Mail.
The Mail also report that QPR defender Ryan Nelsen’s former club DC United want to offer him player-coach role for the new season, which begins in March.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are likely to make a £35m move for Napoli’s Argentine forward Edinson Cavani if they miss out on Atletico Madrid star Radamel Falcao, according to the Mirror.
Falcao has been tipped to join Real Madrid with Cavani touted as back-up option for the Blues.
The Daily Telegraph report that Demba Ba has completed his £7m move to Chelsea from Newcastle after an extraordinary row was resolved.
Negotiations were apparently complicated by both the player and his representatives being due slice of the transfer fee, with Ba’s cut understood to be £2.5m.
Fulham have launched a bid for Molde defender Vegard Forren, the Mail say.
Everton and Sunderland are also said to be interested in the 24-year-old Norway international.

I am West Ham but I hear his agent is friends with Redknapp. Also the agent is an apparent shark who is only interested in money and not his player. This crap could happen due to dodgy old droopy chops!
I remember liking that bloke, he's become so annoying, always trying to nick our players and has disappeared up his own anus,
deluded what more can I say....lure him to what?... a small tinpot club with a rubbish ground,rubbish support..who'll be playing the chumps league...not the champs league........your stories are good for a laugh tho!

Dont make me laugh....... If a big club comes in for him he'll possible leave, qpr are smaller than wigan and will be back in the championship next season..
