Rangers are under pressure but we fancy them to beat Reading

QPR must do without Stephane Mbia against Reading after his stupid red card against Arsenal.

Without that petulant kick at Arsenal skipper Thomas Vermaelen we would probably be looking back at a terrific point for Rangers at the Emirates.

As it is, a poor refereeing decision means they badly need three points against a Reading side who shipped seven midweek.

The R’s are 5/6 at BetVictor to get that elusive first league win of the season with the Royals 18/5 and the draw at 11/4.

There are likely to be goals in this game and both teams to score is priced at 7/10.

Confidence is unlikely to be high in the Reading side, having lost a 4-0 lead against Arsenal, and I think Rangers can win 3-1, which is a 12/1 shot.

  • I bet that Park will be blamed for something, whether he plays or not, just like the Arsenal game, by the barmy QPR set. QPR = cognitive dissonance.
