Without the injured Loic Remy, QPR were unable to get the win against Norwich that they badly needed. Here’s how we rated the players in their frustrating 0-0 draw at Loftus Road.
Julio Cesar: 7
Continued his recent good form with another important save, this time an instinctive reaction stop to deny Wes Hoolahan.
Fabio: 7
Solid at right-back and got forward well.
Chris Samba: 7
A sound start to his QPR career. Will be an asset in both boxes.
Clint Hill: 7
Solid as usual at the back. Did well in his battle with Grant Holt.
Armand Traore: 7
Did okay defensively and always looked to get forward.
Shaun Wright-Phillips: 6
Wasn’t able to trouble Norwich’s resolute defence.
Shaun Derry: 6
Kept it simple and gave the back four good cover.
Stephane Mbia: 6
Full of running but lacked composure at important times.
Andros Townsend: 7
Did well on his debut. Always willing to take players on and shoot when the chance arose.
Adel Taarabt: 6
Unable to convert his penalty, which was well saved by Mark Bunn, but worked hard with and without the ball on a frustrating day for the team.
Jamie Mackie: 6
Won the penalty but otherwise had little joy. Remy was missed.
Bobby Zamora: 6
Offered a physical presence up front when he came on and went close to scoring with a far-post header.
Jermaine Jenas: 6
Neat and tidy after being introduced off the bench for his debut.
