QPR and Fulham drew 1-1 in an action-packed derby at Loftus Road. Here’s how we rated the players.
The penalty hero again, with his sixth save in 10 spot-kicks faced at QPR. Smithies made other fine saves too and had no chance with Fulham’s goal.
Retained his place in the starting line-up and put in a steady performance. This was a tough test for the youngster and he stuck to the task.
Solid and gave as good as he got against Chris Martin.
Another good performance from the R’s captain, who has been in decent form since his return to the starting line-up.
Deployed between Lynch and Onuoha, but often shifted a few yards forward to help the midfield. Hall clearly relishes his new role and is performing very well in it at the moment.
Conceded a soft penalty and was left the wrong side of his man a couple of times. His work going forward, though, was good.
A good display that was rewarded with his first goal for QPR after capitalising on an error to squeeze the ball under David Button.
Struggled at times as Fulham’s fluid movement in midfield allowed the visitors to have the vast majority of the ball, but Luongo worked hard to press his opposition – typified when forcing the Kevin McDonald mistake that led to Manning’s goal.
More industrious than spectacular, the Pole was often in the middle of the pitch rather than on the wing as he helped assist Manning and Luongo in the midfield battle.
Another strong performance from Mackie, who can also take some credit for Manning’s goal after shutting off an easy pass that forced McDonald to panic.
Nothing seemed to come off for Sylla and he’ll be disappointed with the way he let an early chance slip away from him. Worked hard though.
Brought on with 20 minutes to go, Washington worked hard to make something happen in the final third. He created an opening with excellent strength and pace, but David Button was equal to his fizzing effort.
A pretty quiet afternoon for the Fulham stopper, who almost kept out Manning’s goal. Later did well to keep out a stinging low effort from Washington.
Picked up a first-half booking after arguing with a linesman. Uncomfortable against the energy of Mackie and was hooked at the break.
No-nonsense display from the defender. Solid and uncompromising against the frustrated Sylla.
Very reliable, though not an afternoon when he was tested as much as he might have expected to be.
Typically always looking to get forward and spark attacks and a constant danger to Rangers with his marauding.
Another polished display to add to the cannon of top-notch performances this season. Booked for a shove on Manning during the frenetic, ill-tempered injury time.
His howler gifted Rangers their lead. That scuffed backpass spoilt an otherwise effective afternoon
Another skilful showing from the midfielder. Kept probing away, trying to create openings and was always looking for the ball.
Booed by the home fans after earning Fulham’s early penalty with a tumble under minimal contact from Bidwell. But always lively, and forced Smithies into two watchful tip-overs in the second half.
Influence faded a bit after a bright start and he made way for Ryan Sessegnon for the last 15 minutes.
Made amends for his saved penalty with a cute flick to divert Cairney’s shot for the equaliser. Worked hard throughout.
Replaced Fredericks at half-time and was never afraid to venture forward on the right.
