Karl Henry’s goal meant QPR ended their season on a winning note. Here’s how we rated the Rangers players in their 1-0 victory against Bristol City at Loftus Road.
Matt Ingram: 7
Retained his place in the starting line-up and again impressed with some solid saves.
Nedum Onuoha: 7
The R’s captain finished the game to complete his record of playing every minute of every league match this season – a fine effort considering his injuries in the past.
Grant Hall: 6
Had a shot cleared off the line, but the fans’ player of the year struggled at times with the pace of Jonathan Kodjia.
Clint Hill: 7
Also had an effort cleared off the line – a looping header from a deep corner seconds before Hall’s effort was cleared. A determined display from the stalwart in what is expected to be his final game for the club.
Cole Kpekawa: 7
Handed another chance to show what he can do at left-back and the youngster put in a good display.
Karl Henry: 7
Struggled in the first half, along with Alejandro Faurlin, to contain Lee Tomlin, but he improved in the second and scored an absolute beauty.
Alejandro Faurlin: 6
Found the going tough for the much of the game, but the Argentine midfielder never stopped working and did his best to keep the R’s ticking over.
Ben Gladwin: 7
Given a start and showed good vision and awareness to set up Henry for QPR’s goal.
Nasser El Khayati: 6
The Dutchman has plenty of skill in his armoury, but was a little slow in moving the ball around and needs to work on his defensive cover.
Tjaronn Chery: 6
Provided a regular threat going forward in the first half, without providing a real end product. Withdrawn early in the second half.
Conor Washington: 7
Given a sight of goal in the first minute, but scuffed his left-footed effort. Worked hard though and had a hand in QPR’s goal.
Junior Hoilett: 6
A lively cameo after coming on as a substitute.
Michael Petrasso: 6
Nearly scored with his first touch and worked hard off the ball as QPR tried to close out the game.
Sebastian Polter: 6
Unlucky when his late strike hit the woodwork.
