QPR have made an £8m move for Manchester City’s Joleon Lescott but he is stalling as he is keen to rejoin Everton, according to The Sun.
The Sun also claim Jose Bosingwa – recently fined for refusing to be a substitute – has sparked more anger at the club by insisting he is not fit enough to train or play.
A source is quoted as saying: “Everyone here is baffled. We are all wondering how he could have been injured when he hasn’t even been training.”
The Independent suggest QPR have moved ahead of Newcastle in the race to sign Marseille’s Loic Remy because they are prepared to pay the £10m-rated striker substantially higher wages.

Chelsea’s Yossi Benayoun is in talks with Southampton after having his West Ham loan cut short, The Sun reports.
The Saints apparently want him as cover for injured skipper Adam Lallana.
