QPR fans encouraged by Washington’s international goal
QPR fans on Twitter believe Conor Washington’s first goal for Northern Ireland can give his career at Loftus Road a boost.
Washington scored the winner in a friendly against Slovenia on his home debut, becoming the first Rangers player to net for Northern Ireland since Iain Dowie in November 1998.
He has yet to score for QPR in eight appearances since moving from Peterborough, but some supporters are keen to see him given more game time by boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
Good to see Conor Washington score fot NI. Hope JFH takes a note and gives more minutes. #QPR
