Rangers meet Newcastle in their last home game of the season. They are 12/5 to take all three points with the Magpies 5/4 and the draw 12/5.
This is a bigger game for the visitors than for Rangers, but Wigan’s home defeat to Swansea has certainly helped Alan Pardew’s side, who face Arsenal on the final day of the season and are 9/1 for the drop.
It is possible that these sides will be locking horns in the Championship next term and Rangers are 5/1 favourites to win the division.
Harry Redknapp remains 1/2 to still be in charge at Loftus Road on the opening day of the 2013/14 season and 6/4 to no longer be at the club.
Fulham have a good opportunity to finish their home season in style given there will be no Daniel Agger, Steven Gerrard or Luis Suarez in the Liverpool line-up – and it should be an open game.
The Reds know they must win to have any chance of finishing above neighbours Everton, although the fact that they have allowed Gerrard to have shoulder surgery now rather than wait for the end of the season suggests they have given up on finishing sixth.
Liverpool are even-money (always backed) with Fulham 11/4 and the draw 13/5.
After the Reading debacle Fulham will want to give their supporters something to take into the close season and I think there will be a few goals; three or more goals is priced at 4/5 at Betvictor and that looks a decent shout.
The Whites are out to 11/2 to finish the season in the top 10 and three points is essential if that is to be a target ahead of next weekend’s trip to Swansea.
