QPR have confirmed they have extended Angel Rangel’s contract until the end of the season.
West London Sport revealed in August that Rangel was being brought in on short-term deal and this week revealed that the club were meeting with his representatives in order to finalise an extension.
Rangel, who recently turned 36, has been outstanding since being brought to Loftus Road as cover while Darnell Furlong was out with a knee injury.
“I’m delighted to be able to stay until the end of the season. The club wanted me to stay so I didn’t think twice about it,” Rangel told QPR’s website.
