As the business end of the season approaches, Ruislip Social Club will donate 50p from every pint sold in February to Wealdstone’s playing budget.
The club hope people respond by making a special effort to make use of the social club during the month and encouraging others to do the same.
The target is to sell 5,000 pints in the month which would generate a donation of £2,500 to the playing budget for the final push.
‘Virtual pints’ are also being sold for under-age fans and Stones supporters unable to attend.
The club have a target of 500 pints and details of how to buy a virtual pint for 50p will be released soon. Hitting both these targets will raise the donation to £2,750.
There are four Stones home games in February and their all-conquering ladies team are at home at least twice. The social club also has live music and televised Premier League football.
Wealdstone are urging supporters and users of the club to make an extra effort to enjoy a beer before or after a game and to think about bringing others along to watch a live game.
The music gigs in the month include The Strange Door, Michael Buble, Bravado (Rush), Fleetwood Bac, two special Floyd Effect gigs, plus Ian Parker.
