Odds highlight how disappointing QPR and Fulham have been this season
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is still looking for his first win as QPR boss after another late goal, this time at Blackburn, in midweek.
His team are on the road again this weekend and they visit South Yorkshire and a Rotherham United side who have just beaten promotion-chasing Brighton.
The R’s are 17/10 to win, with the Millers 9/5 and the draw 12/5.
Rangers are now 16/1 to finish in the top six. In the short term, they just need a win.
If we look at BetVictor’s market for top west London club and their original prices it shows what a disappointing season it has been for both Fulham and Rangers to date:
Top west London Championship side (original prices in brackets):
Brentford: 2/7 (7/1)
QPR: 5/2 (6/4)
Fulham: 20/1 (evens)
Fulham are also in Yorkshire, at Huddersfield, and the hosts are a shade of odds-against, at 21/20, with Fulham 13/5 and the draw 14/5.
The Terriers stuck five past a woeful Charlton side in midweek and I expect to see goals, with the recommendation both sides to find the back of the net at 3/5.
Fulham are only 6/1 to be relegated (Huddersfield 16s) after a run of only one win in their last 13 in all competitions and, although they are six points clear of the drop zone, they need to start picking up some points quickly if they want to avoid being embroiled in a relegation fight.
Brentford (29/20) entertain Burnley (21/10). The Clarets are looking for a third successive win, with Andre Gray 11/2 to score the opening goal back at Griffin Park. I fancy a draw and like the look of the 6/1 for a 1-1 scoreline.

As a qpr fan I would say if we don’t win soon we will be relegation candidates
