Heartwarming footage of QPR legend Bowles ahead of benefit match
Heartwarming footage of Stan Bowles enjoying a kickabout with his grandson on the eve of the QPR legend’s benefit match has been posted on Twitter by his close friend and former R’s team-mate Don Shanks.
Rangers will play Bournemouth at Loftus Road later today in a match dedicated to Bowles, who is suffering with Alzheimer’s disease.
It will be his final visit to the ground he famously graced in the 1970s.
