Manuel Pellegrini has told Chelsea he is not interested in taking over at Stamford Bridge, The Sun reports.
The Malaga boss has been strongly linked with the Blues job along with the likes of Jose Mourinho.
But Pellegrini, 59, has seemingly sought to distance himself from speculation that he could move on in the summer.
“I’m not looking to change club,” he is quoted as saying.
“My main objective is to finish my contract with Malaga and continue the work we have started.
“In the Champions League quarter-final against Dortmund I think we showed that Malaga was one of the top four teams in Europe.
“I suppose there’s uncertainty about my future because nobody knows the next developments at this club yet.”
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph report that Andre Schurrle’s £20m transfer to Chelsea moved a step closer after Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller flew to London for talks.
And the Mail say Chelsea and Manchester City are on alert after Edinson Cavani’s mother told a Uruguayan radio station the striker wants to leave Napoli.
