Manchester City are tracking highly-rated Chelsea youngster Conor Hunte, according to the Daily Mirror.
It is claimed the champions will have the 16-year-old watched this weekend and are believed to be keen to sign him.
Hunte is regarded as an excellent prospect and featured in a recent youth-team game against City, which Chelsea won 2-0.
Chelsea are said to be determined to convince him his future lies at Stamford Bridge.
French newspaper Le 10 Sport say Ashley Cole has moved a step closer to agreeing a move to Paris St-Germain.
It is claimed former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti, now in charge at the French club, telephoned Cole to make him an offer.
There has been speculation about the England’s left-back’s future as his contract expires next summer.
Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has stated that he believes Cole will sign a new deal.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail say Chelsea are considering move for powerful Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony.
