Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has joined the race for Shakhtar Donetsk star Willian, according to the Daily Mirror.
Chelsea have shown an interest in the Brazilian forward, while Tottenham are also reported to have chased him.
And it is claimed that Mancini does not want to be beaten to Willian’s signing if he becomes available in January.
Monaco – managed by former Blues boss Claudio Ranieri – are the latest club to show interest in Chelsea’s Frank Lampard, the Daily Mail say.
The Mail also suggest Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will revive his interest in Everton defender Leighton Baines after conceding defeat in his apparent move for Chelsea’s Ashley Cole.
Meanwhile, Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson is weighing up a shock move for QPR star Adel Taarabt, according to The Sun.
It is claimed Ferguson sees the Moroccan as potential replacement for Ashley Young.
And QPR manager Harry Redknapp has made an enquiry about Nicolas Anelka, the Mirror claim.
Redknapp is said to be keen to sign the former Chelsea striker, 33, from Shanghai Shenhua either permanently or on loan in January.
