St Etienne defender Kurt Zouma has moved a step closer to joining Chelsea, according to French media reports.
Zouma, 19, is said to have agreed terms with the Blues and is tipped to sign a five-and-a-half-year contract once a deal is finalised between the two clubs.
Meanwhile, Belgian press reports suggest Fulham have missed out on the signing of Steven Defour.
Porto’s Belgium midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Craven Cottage but he is now expected to stay put.
And in Italy, AC Milan are reportedly planning to formally announce the signing of Michael Essien from Chelsea in the next 24 hours.
