Sunderland are the latest club to be linked with a move for Fulham’s Derek Boateng.
France Football has reported that Sunderland boss Gus Poyet is interested in taking the out-of-favour Whites midfielder to the Stadium of Light on loan for the rest of the season.
It comes after French side Evian were reported to be close to a deal for Ghana international Boateng, who has made only three league appearances since his move to Craven Cottage from Dnipro last summer.
He was recently tipped to complete a loan move to Championship club Watford, who have since turned their attention to QPR’s Samba Diakite.
Meanwhile, Fulham have had a second bid for defender Liam Moore rejected by Leicester City, according to Sky.
