Chelsea and Man Utd supposedly chasing Arsenal target Thauvin
Chelsea and Manchester United are set to go head-to-head in a race to sign Arsenal target Florian Thauvin, the Daily Star claim.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is said to be keen on the Marseille player, 20, while United have also been linked.
And reports of Chelsea’s supposed interest come after French newspaper La Provence declared on Thursday that the Blues have scouted Thauvin.
Meanwhile, the Daily Express say Inter Milan will ask Manchester United for Javier Hernandez in part-exchange for Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin.
Chelsea apparently want Guarin too and are looking to offload Demba Ba in a swap deal with the Italian club.
And French media have reported that Radamel Falcao has denied suggestions he is unhappy at Monaco.
Chelsea have been widely tipped to make a move to sign the striker when the transfer window opens next month.
But Falcao is quoted as saying: “I am very happy at Monaco and my wife is happy to live here.
“There is no problem with the coach, the doctors or the team. I don’t feel at ease with the speculation.”
