QPR are planning a January move to sign Manchester City striker John Guidetti on loan, according to The Sun.
It is claimed Rangers’ former City boss Mark Hughes wants the 20-year-old Swede as replacement for Andrew Johnson, who has been sidelined by a knee injury.
The Daily Express also say Hughes wants Guidetti and that he may turn to Roque Santa Cruz if the Premier League champions block the move.
Santa Cruz, currently on loan at Malaga from City, played under Hughes at Eastlands and Blackburn.
