Fans on Twitter praise Caulker after QPR win
Steven Caulker’s first appearance in a QPR shirt for 15 months seemed to impress supporters on Twitter.
The centre-back, returning to the fold after loan spells with Southampton and Liverpool, formed a solid partnership with Grant Hall in the 3-0 win over Leeds United on Sunday.
And he seemed to win round some fans who would have been happy to see him moved on in the summer.
Never thought I’d say it months ago but hope Caulker stays. Don’t think QPR fans were wrong, improvement noticable & hope head sorted.

@ByrneBarry Ditto that. If Caulker can keep up that level of performance, his partnership with Hall at centre-back will be one of the best.

NGL. I would’ve been happy to let Caulker go, but after today’s result I hope we can keep him. I think that back 4 is sound as #QPR

Actually think Caulker had a great game. Little mix up for the Swedish kids chance, but hoping he will become the player we wanted!

Also well impressed with Caulker, has a point to prove and showed genuine class today.

Reading the recent article in the Gaurdian he’s been on the Road to Damascus, with a visit to Seara Leone he’s realised just how lucky he is, a good reality check and has pulled himself together, not to waste his life away as he’s done so over the past seasons.

Hope caulker stays but not short in centre half area got lynch and enuoha if a decent bid comes in and we get his wages off the books wouldn’t be a disaster if JFH was handed the funds to get a a striker or 2 onboard. We’re a bit short up front if we lose polter to injury or suspension. Good start we won’t get carried away. Come on you R’sss.
