The Mail have again linked with Fulham with Preston striker Callum Robinson.
Wolves and Cardiff City are also linked with the 21-year-old, who has scored seven goals this season.
The Mail say Fulham had a £2.5m bid for Robinson rejected earlier this month and that Preston want £4m.
There is inevitably speculation over the future of Brentford striker Scott Hogan as the transfer window enters its final stages.
The Sun, which went to press before news emerged that West Ham appear to be out of the running to sign Hogan, reports that a deal to take him to east London is almost complete.
The newspaper also claim Brentford insisted on £1m payment should the Hammers win the Premier League title after signing Hogan.
Meanwhile, The Daily Mail say Aston Villa are ready to sell Ashley Westwood for £5m to Burnley ahead of launching a £9m bid for Hogan.
