A stoppage-time equaliser by Gareth McAuley meant Fulham had to settle for a point. Here’s how we rated the players in their 1-1 draw against West Brom.
David Stockdale: 7
The keeper didn’t have many saves to make and looked assured but he is still likely to return to the bench when Maarten Stekelenburg is fit again.
Sascha Riether: 6
Riether had a quiet game and offered little going forward before tiring towards the end.
Brede Hangeland: 6
The captain had another solid game but did not deal with the corner which led to McAuley heading in West Brom’s equaliser.
Philippe Senderos: 7
Senderos was preferred to Fernando Amorebieta to replace the injured Aaron Hughes and the Swiss defender had one of his better games in a Fulham shirt.
Kieran Richardson: 7
Making his return from a hamstring injury, Richardson showed why boss Martin Jol prefers him to John Arne Riise, producing an excellent defensive performance.
Scott Parker: 7
The recent signing from Spurs has been a fine addition to Jol’s squad and is forming a good partnership with Steve Sidwell in midfield.
Steve Sidwell: 7
Capped a good performance with a well taken goal and is important to the way Fulham play.
Bryan Ruiz: 6
Ruiz was ineffectual for the most part and may face a lengthy spell on the sidelines if Jol’s fears of serious ankle injury prove to be well founded.
Pajtim Kasami: 5
Returned to the side in place of the injured Darren Bent but he is yet to show Fulham fans whatever it is Jol sees in him.
Alex Kacaniklic: 7
Kacaniklic showed glimpses of his potential and was a real attacking threat at times.
Dimitar Berbatov: 8
Was Fulham’s best player once again and was unlucky not to be given the benefit of the doubt for the second of his disallowed goals.
Fernando Amorebieta: 6
Looked okay out of position at left-back in place of Richardson, but he is a natural centre-back and had just recovered from injury to make his debut.
Hugo Rodallega: 6
Got into a good area to fire in Fulham’s third disallowed goal but had little time to make an impact as a late substitute.
