QPR are celebrating a first win at Fulham since 1980. Here’s how we rated each player in an extraordinary west London derby at Craven Cottage.
Beaten by a deflection for the first QPR goal and was left badly exposed for the second. Was a calming presence for Fulham with some routine saves from Tjaronn Chery during a spell of Rangers pressure in the first half.
Decent on the ball but was caused problems by the movement of Chery and Conor Washington from the left.
Far too easily dragged out of position by the hardworking working Sebastian Polter and his replacement Idrissa Sylla.
Used the ball well and popped up in the box to score the equaliser – his first goal for Fulham. His partnership with Sigurdsson doesn’t look convincing though.
Competed well against the physically strong Pawel Wszoleck and got forward too.
Had a good game in midfield, creating a number of openings with his passes. His attempt on goal led to Fulham’s equaliser and he later had a shot cleared off the line and instigated a move which should have led to a goal for Neeskens Kebano.
Struggled against Massimo Luongo at times but battled hard in midfield and delivered a cross to Kebano, who ought to have scored.
A slick display in which he caused QPR problems on the right. Excellent at picking up space and his use of the ball was impressive.
Lively, but was guilty of two costly misses, firing woefully wide when a great chance came his way and then hitting the post with his penalty in the final seconds.
Drifted in and out of the game. Bullied by Nedum Onuoha, who might have struggled against the skilful Brazilian had Piazon had the ball at his feet more often. His most effective moments came when he wandered into the middle.
Oh dear. Looked devoid of confidence up front and missed a sitter when he lost his balance and shot wide of an unguarded goal near the end of the first half.
A big improvement on Martin when he was introduced from the bench. Immediately teed up Parker for a shot that was cleared off the line and never let Rangers’ defence settle.
The substitute missed a glorious opportunity when he headed wide when unchallenged at the far post. It proved costly.
Brought on for the final 12 minutes and made an impact, rattling the bar with a free-kick and drawing the challenge which led to Fulham’s second penalty.
Another penalty save and a fine all-round performance. Great stuff from the Rangers keeper.
Did well at the back against against a threatening Fulham attack and might have scored with a late header. Very unfortunate to have a penalty awarded against him.
Didn’t have the most comfortable of games, and conceded a penalty, but his back-heeled clearance off the line prevented the R’s going behind in the second half.
A sterling job from Hall, who produced several blocks and tackles to thwart Fulham’s frontline. The defender’s best performance for a while.
Solid at the back. Tried to contribute going forward, although a number of his crosses failed to find a target. Did a decent job as a makeshift left-back in the absence of the injured Jake Bidwell.
An excellent showing. Covered an incredible amount of ground, got stuck into numerous challenges, had a couple of good shots and was very neat on the ball. Is in great form at the moment.
Was caught out a few times and got plenty of help from Luongo. His covering work, though, was very good.
The Polish winger enjoyed a good battle with Malone and set up the first goal. Worked really hard before being taken off.
Wasn’t as his best but still had a decisive impact by setting up Rangers’ winner.
After 22 appearances, he finally has his first league goal for the club. And it came in a very good all-round performance where he operated mostly on the left, but occasionally more advanced alongside Polter and Sylla.
A good first-half performance – workmanlike rather than dazzling – before the German was replaced in the second half.
Occupied the Fulham back-line well, dropping short to pick up the ball or leading the line further up the field, and when the chance came his way he took it with a diving header.
A constant nuisance to the Fulham defence in his lively 30-minute cameo and one of the main reasons QPR were able to break out as Fulham pushed for a winner.
