Whites looking to beat Everton to signing of midfielder – report

Fulham want to sign Valencia midfielder Sergio Canales on loan, according to the Daily Mirror.

Valencia are reportedly willing to sanction a loan move in order to put the 22-year-old in the shop window for a potential sale.

The Daily Mail say Everton are also interested in Canales but that Fulham are hopeful they will be able to agree a deal for the former Real Madrid youngster.

Manchester United were apparently keen on Canales during Whites boss Rene Meulensteen’s time at Old Trafford.

The Mail also say Fulham have made a bid for Sunderland defender Phil Bardsley and could yet land West Ham’s Ravel Morrison.
