Fulham are struggling but could they upset Man Utd or Liverpool?

It was yet another terrible week for Fulham fans.

A 3-0 loss at home to Southampton was topped by being dumped out of the FA Cup by League One Sheffield United in the last minute of extra time, manager Rene Meulensteen conceding that the club had hit “rock bottom”.

The Whites have two difficult league fixtures inside four days, travelling to Old Trafford to face champions Manchester United on Saturday before hosting Liverpool at the Cottage on Wednesday.

Fulham are 14/1 away at Old Trafford, Untied 2/9 and 6/1 the draw.

However, with the pressure off they could nick a result; Fulham 7/1 in the draw no-bet market and 9/2 with a goal head start.

Meulensteen’s side are 11/2 when hosting Liverpool in midweek, the Reds 8/15, the draw 10/3.

And considering Brendan Rogers’ side were held to a 1-1 draw away at West Brom last week here’s hoping Fulham can do likewise – 9/1 for the 1-1 correct score.
