Fans on Twitter discuss Dembele’s possible move to Spurs
Many Tottenham fans on Twitter have been urging their club to tie up a deal for Fulham striker Moussa Dembele.
The 19-year-old Frenchman – no relation to Spurs’ Belgian midfielder Mousa Dembele, who also joined from Fulham – is out of contract in the summer.
Fulham are prepared to sell if Tottenham meet their £5m valuation – and many Spurs supporters are keen to see their club beat Monaco and Wolfsburg to signing the teenager.
I quite hope the Dembele story is true, seems like a perfect Poch/Mitchell buy. Young, cheap, decent, could be very decent. #THFC

Don’t know much about #Fulham s…Dembele apart from his young quick and strong! If poch wants him…go get him👌 #thfc #COYS

Please let us sign Mousa Dembele by deadline day. I can see this season being special if we do !! #THFC

Is it just me that would rather take the punt on Dembele from Fulham rather than splash big on Berahino? #coys #thfc

Get Dembele please Spurs! We gotta get another striker before end of window. #COYS

There was a mixed reaction, however, from Fulham fans.
Selling Dembele to Spurs would be the best move for the club and him. More money for us, and an opportunity with a manager who uses youth.

Really not too bothered by dembele going, never really rated him. I’d happily take 4-6 million at this point #ffc

Spurs in talks with Dembele – Can’t blame them, best young player outside the Premier League. £5m and loan back. Not too bad for us. #FFC

If we get Dembele from Fulham on a loan back deal,we will still need another striker to partner Harry Kane for the rest of this season? Or have I got it wrong?

Seems to me that this guy is looking for the biggest pay deal he can get. Good luck to him but not the type Pochettino looks for

Agreed as he fits our profile and our agenda perfectly. But will tax free Monaco win out? If money is all that he cares about, it will be Monaco, so no real loss IMO. Good filter this one.
