Fans on Twitter react to Sandro’s expected move
QPR fans on Twitter have been reacting to news that Sandro is on the verge of completing a move to West Bromwich Albion.
A deal for the Brazilian midfielder, who has made 28 appearances for Rangers since joining from Tottenham in 2014, has been agreed in principle and a medical scheduled for Friday.
And many QPR supporters seem quite happy to see the back of injury-prone Sandro.
Pound for pound, taking into account wages, transfer fee, appearances etc Sandro will go down as the worse signing in our history. #QPR

I will fly back from the US to personally drive #Sandro to the midlands & convince Fernandes to let him go on a free, not a loan deal #QPR

Sandro to WBA…..let me me know where on the M5 to drop him #injuryprone #QPR

So is he going going, or just loan going? I need to know how big my smile should be #Sandro #QPR

I like Sandro, but if one signing ever had disaster written all over it from the very beginning… To spend the amount we did was criminal

There was also a mixed response from West Brom fans. Some felt the 26-year-old, who has won 16 caps for Brazil, would bring some know-how to the Baggies’ midfield, but others questioned why boss Tony Pulis wasn’t signing a more attack-minded player.
#Sandro has plenty of top flight experience and a fresh face might alter the mood.Fresh legs certainly cannot hinder us! #WBA

Sandro would be a good signing I would take that all day long #WBA

Dad told me Sandro was going to be having a medical today & it was greeted with 0 levels of excitement 😂

Agree Sandro fuarlin in midfield for some reason Sandro never got run on his day still premiership player but unfortunately didn’t have too many days
You cant really argue with worst run club title but we’ll still be here when others are gone but give jimmy a chance to get his own players in without being dictated to by les and co

Give Sandro a chance. WBA need some new blood and hopefully this player may draw some of the oppositions!!
This is a beast of a player, strong and well experienced in the middle of the park. Premiership is a different type of football to that of division 2. work rates are good and should suit our type of play. Boing boing

well another midfield player great! what about a attacking player or a left back matty philips would be a better signing pay the ten million asking price because at the moment we havnt got any goals in us and we looking over our shoulder in the table with swansea and newcastle coming up mext two games lose them and we fighting with the rest at the bottom of the table

No signing will ever be worse than that of Jose Bosingwa. A footballing crime that will never see Mark Hughes forgiven by me.
Bosingwa became the first, and only, QPR player that I ever booed on the field of play in 48 years of supporting the club!
Sandro, is an injury prone mess, who the club is far better off getting rid of but he will never be as shameful as Bosingwa!

SANDRO WAS NEVER GIVEN A REAL RUN AT QPR HE IS A VERY TALENTED PLAYER IN FRONT OF THE BACK 4 .SHOULD BE STILL PLAYING ALONGSIDE FAURLIN QPR ARE MAD TO PUT HIM OUT OM LOAN AND PROB SELL HIM FOR VERY LITTLE LIKE CHARLIE .

It’s a shame, we couldn’t of actually sold him to West Brom but then again QPR don’t bother about return on investment. Ferdinand should of been sacked for gross negligence for allowing the Austin situation get to where it ended up

If he stayed fit I think hes a good player but the worst we have ever signed? Lets start a list mine would be : wright Philips, traore, holiet,Philips and for the players that exceeded our expectations: leach, parkes, derry, hill, austin , faulin, give someone who loves qpr like I do and give a 1000/00 every game anytime.another thought have you noticed how many players we let go because the managers didnt think good enough for us but still play in the prem:_ punchen, delany, simpson and many more.
