We fancy Fulham against Sunderland, while Chelsea should crush Hull

We make Fulham 23/20 favourites for Saturday’s vital game against fellow strugglers Sunderland, who are 13/5 with the draw 12/5.

However, Gus Poyet’s men will have been buoyed with a 2-1 defeat of Manchester United in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night and are improving.

Fulham have yet to keep a clean sheet since Rene Meulensteen’s arrival at the Cottage and with both teams likely to score punters will no doubt be using the game as a boost for accas at the price of 8/11.

Similarly the ‘win and both teams to score’ option – Sunderland 11/2 with preference for Fulham at 31/10 and far more appealing than the price of 23/20 for them to secure all three points.

A Fulham win would go a long way to securing their Premier League status for another season and would also keep the Black Cats rooted to the foot of the table.

In another early-season relegation six-pointer, West Ham travel to the Cardiff City Stadium in a huge weekend for those clubs fighting for their lives.

Premier League relegation prices from BetVictor
Crystal Palace 1/2
Sunderland 4/7
West Ham 11/8
Cardiff 11/8
Fulham 2/1
Norwich 3/1
11/2 Bar

Fulham will need to get past Norwich in an FA Cup replay after a largely second-string team battled out a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road, Darren Bent scoring his first goal since October.

Back on home soil the Whites should be able to win to set up a fourth-round trip to Sheffield United and Fulham are 11/10 with BetVictor to win the replay and 80/1 to go all the way and lift the trophy.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho had more to celebrate than most over the New Year, with his Chelsea side now just two points behind leaders Arsenal and safely through to the fourth round of the FA Cup after a confident 3-0 defeat of Derby.

The Blues are now the 9/2 joint second favourites with Arsenal for the Cup; Manchester City the 4/1 favourites.

Chelsea return to Premier League action on Saturday and travel to Hull for Saturday’s early kick-off.

The Blues should make light work of the Tigers; Chelsea the 8/13 favourites, Hull 21/4 and the draw 3/1.

WhoScored.com markets are available on the match and with the form Oscar is in he looks over-priced at 6/1 to have the most shots, 8/1 to be highest-rated player and 7/1 to be awarded the man of the match.
